Poodlemania
Since the 1990s the Standard Poodle is the mascot of Group Lili. Lili has loved and cared for seven of these magnificent dogs. All her poodles past, and present, have been used in marketing, advertising and as general greeters in the Group Lili showroom. We strongly believe in socialization and good manners of all our dogs. And we strive to educate the public and our clients on what a fabulous ambassador of joy, loyalty and energy this unique breed represents.
They are beautiful, but don't let their show stopping apperance fool you. They are essentially working dogs, in the retriever family, and are extremely active. They run with speed and trot with such grace that they remind you of a thoroughbred horse. They have "soft mouths", like most retrievers, and are great with children. They love to play and jump high. And will reward you with lots of couch time at the end of the day. They are endurance dogs and make great agility, therapy and support dogs. One of our current poodles is a trained "Therapy/Support" dog and works with children, adults and the elderly, and one of our past poodles was a great agility dog which could jump over six feet.
Lili has had seven poodles to date. Some have lived long, others unfortunately were lost far too soon. Some she received as puppies; others were rescues which Lili adopted. We picture each of our wonderful dogs, past and present. We currently have two fabulous male poodles, both 2 1/2 yrs. old. They are yin and yang, with on being a "blue" (dark gray coat) and one being a "buff" (silver taupe coat). Cezanne is the clown and toast of the town. He never stops, plays until he drops, and likes to talk back. He is the therapy dog, and loves being touched and petted. Dawson was recently adopted, and he is the mellow old soul and is calm and never leaves Lili's side. We call them "the boys" and they get along fabulously which is unusual for two boys of different litters who are the same age.
Stroll through the photos of our poodles over the years, and feel free to contact us if you have questions regarding the breed or just want to share your stories of your fabulous poodles.
